LAUV - Light Autonomous Underwater Vehicle
The LAUV is a Light Autonomous Underwater Vehicle targeted at innovative standalone or networked operations for cost-effective oceanographic, hydrographic and security and surveillance surveys. A robust and reliable vehicle for oceanographic upper water-column or bathymetric measurements, the vehicle can operate for more than 24 hours at a maximum speed over ground of 6 Knots. It comes with a host of sensors suitable for specific oceanographic or security applications and is now built and marketed by OceanScan MST in Porto.
